Learning Objectives:

  1. Describe the theoretical orientations of EMDR: Adaptive Information Processing Model and how it applies to memory reprocessing.

  3. List criteria for optimal candidates for referral to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy

  4. Understand the trajectory leading to training in EMDR, and name certifying organizations for reputable training.
